Opening Prayer and Scripture
Service with a word of prayer.
Eternal God, we thank You for this opportunity to be in this conference meeting, and I trust that wisdom will prevail, that we will conduct the affairs of the church in an orderly manner, and that everything that we do here and things that we say will be honorable, and that they bring honor and glory to Your name.
We always ask for Your wisdom, Holy Spirit, guiding us in the affairs of the church. These things we ask in His name and for His glory. Amen.
Amen.
All right. I’m going to read Proverbs chapter 2.
“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turn your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding. And if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright. He is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for He guards the course of the just and protects the ways of His faithful ones.
Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.
Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who leave the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.”
Proverbs 2, verses 1 through 15.
Having said that, then we shall continue with our discussion.
Previous Meeting Minutes
Thomas, you have not been here. I’m sorry that you did not know, but we’ve been having—and Jen is doing it tonight—AI summary. And I sent a copy of this to everyone that was here.
So this is the AI summary of the meetings that we’ve been having when we did not have an official secretary. AI was the secretary, and the notes and everything was sent to everyone whose address and telephone the committee people asked for.
So this is the minutes.
The next person up would be giving the minutes, and being that I was the unofficial secretary. Do I need to read this?
I don’t think I need to read this because this was sent to everyone.
Exactly.
Here, Jennifer, you can file it.
I sent it to you.
No, no, I did. I can send it to you again.
No, no, I was just saying for those who weren’t here, but that’s fine.
And actually, I can send you the entire transcript of everything that was said if you want it—you know, all the talk.
But people wasn’t there, but just for—
Here’s the point. If you want to receive it, please give Jennifer your telephone number, and she can text it to you going forward.
And what date was that?
This was April 1st, 2026.
And just for point of order, to make sure the AI—everyone that read it—if there are any corrections, they should—
Yeah, and you can correct that. It allows you to do editing on there. Like it had Deacon Habo, because the AI doesn’t hear everything exactly correct, and it does allow you to go in there and correct the name.
And his name is corrected. I went in there and corrected it as Deacon Habo.
But Jennifer will be recording this and transcribing it. She’s doing it right now.
She’s recording right now.
Right.
Correction at the end.
Yeah, we need to vote. Technically, you’re supposed to read the minutes from the previous meeting, then if there are any corrections, go from there. So they should be read at this—
And accepted.
Accepted with changes to come, or if there are no changes.
Well, since we’re discussing it, but we’ve used this time on discussion, you just go ahead and read it.
I’m sorry. You want me to read it?
Yeah, but is it like two or three pages?
This is summary.
It’s the summary.
Oh, and that’s the summary?
Yeah, that’s the summary. That’s not the transcript, because the transcript is very long.
That’s why I sent to everyone the transcript, whose telephone numbers I had. I sent you the transcript.
Would anybody like to review it right now? Can I hand it to someone to look over it? For the church to vote?
Okay, real quick. Like when we have—and I’m not trying to bring our government-like [unclear]—but as the clerk or the recorder of our meetings, we have to put the previous meetings on the upcoming agenda for approval or changes.
They should be read before the body, and then any recommendations for changes verbally made and also in writing, and then we approve them after that. So technically—
Just read it.
Just read it.
Okay.
I mean, everybody—
Everybody’s in agreement. Just read it loud enough that we can hear.
Our new church secretary—
I’m sorry.
—to be voted in.
Okay, so this is—I will read the minutes.
Ms. Jennifer Chandler.
Chandler, reading the minutes.
Reading of April 1, 2026 Leadership Meeting Summary
Summary of Leadership Quarter Two Meeting.
Okay, action items.
Oh, sorry. It was created on April 1st, 2026.
Action items:
Obtain literature study guides. Pastor to obtain new literature and study guides for young church members to support youth education and maturity.
Enter March expenses and update nominations. Regina Russell to enter Deacon Habo’s March expenses and update the 2025–26 nominations list for publication.
Prepare March entries for next month’s report.
Set up merchant online giving. Chase Chandler to set up a merchant online giving account through MP Group to streamline donations. Committee authorized the setup.
Contact sanitation provider. Call Georgia Waste sanitation provider as soon as possible to coordinate dumpster/garbage pickup placement to avoid further damage to the parking lot.
Okay, those were the action items.
Do we need to discuss that or just keep going?
Okay.
Overview.
Meeting opened with prayer. Deacon Habo formally added to the leadership committee.
Detailed financial review. Proposed 2026 expenses, $83,784.44, versus projected income, $78,472, yielding a projected deficit of $5,311.57.
Treasurer reported quarter-to-date activity: total expenses, $12,533.82; net operating income, $11,261.22; and total church funds, $38,787.60.
Vacation Bible School budget confirmed at $1,600.
Travel hotel estimate for Southern Baptist Convention, $1,500 to $1,600.
Roof replacement claim submitted to insurance, waiting on insurer decision.
Actions planned for parking lot, dumpster, pressure washing, $500.
Committee authorized setting up online giving merchant via MP Group to streamline donations.
Nominations and committee additions.
Lloyd stated nominations normally occur in the second part of the meeting but will occur now due to risk of no quorum.
Motion offered to add Deacon Habo to the leadership committee. Members were asked to signal approval by saying aye. Deacon Habo was declared a fully fledged member.
Meeting moved to the financial report, and several items were noted for attention tonight.
The treasurer report and budget review.
Meeting opened by Pastor Michael Smith. Scripture read by Chase Chandler. Minutes read and approved by G. D. Jenkins with corrections.
Benevolent fund balance, $50. $200 owed to the general fund due to an overdraft. Prior $70 check had bounced.
Committee proposes limiting cash aid for non-dire situations and requires presentation of bills before church payment.
2026 proposed budget shows expenses, $83,784.44, versus income, $78,472, projecting a deficit of $5,311.57.
Estimated Southern Baptist Convention travel/hotel costs, $1,500 to $1,600 for a two- to three-day Orlando trip.
Budget priorities focus on essentials: recurring bills, utilities, salaries, QuickBooks, improved financial accountability.
Special offerings—Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong—remain outside the operating budget.
Bank signature cards require updating.
Chase Chandler is authorized to set up merchant online giving through MP Group.
Roof assessment and insurance claim. Joshua provided an estimate noting remaining years and minor repairs. Roofers inspected the roof and submitted an invoice to the insurance company for full roof replacement, waiting for an insurance response on the replacement.
Contacted Joshua. Documents likely in office at [unclear].
Facilities: parking lot/dumpster.
Parking lot is partially torn up by heavy dumpster trucks and is currently roped off. Vendor truck operator carries insurance. Church will communicate with insurer if needed.
Consider avoiding truck use by moving dumpsters to the curb or switching to 95-gallon cans for pickup.
Garbage pickup normally occurs on Tuesday.
Sanitation company needs to be called to confirm access or switch.
Pressure washing estimated at $500. Contractor may be available next week.
Paving decision pending due to ground instability, spring under surface.
And those are the minutes.
Approval of Previous Minutes
I move approval with a few corrections, just the spelling, like to the [unclear], and that’s because of AI. And then also Habo needs to correct the spelling of this.
I think they have my A.
I corrected it on there.
Okay, gotcha.
I’m looking at what you sent.
Yeah, right.
But other than that, I move approval of the minutes of said month’s session.
I want to amend that to approve the summary of the minutes.
Okay.
I’m sorry, but I would come in on that too, because they’re called minutes for a reason. So, of course, AI put in all the—you know, everything, and he went to the store. But that’s the short version from what—
That’s from what AI did.
But if a person was actually doing it, it would have been broken down to probably a page and a half.
Well, that’s where we are now. Judy was out, and we didn’t have a church clerk, so we brought her in, right, so that we won’t have this problem, that it’ll be, you know, actually part of the church logging everything.
And just to—
Judy Jenkins, for the record, correction: Judy Jenkins was not the clerk, so—
I know. I was handling it temporarily, so it still needed to be—
That’s what—we didn’t have anybody in place. In fact, for the last several weeks, we have used AI.
Yeah, because that’s all we had.
So we need a second to Judy’s amendment for correction, but summary of the minutes.
We have a second?
Oh, I second that.
You’re talking about the way the—
Yeah, just paperwork.
This here ain’t working.
He’s making—
I’m sorry.
We can move that to the—
Leadership Committee Report
We have the chairman of the leadership committee. He will summarize what has transpired in the leadership committee.
Okay, church.
First of all, official order of business is to—we have, in our portion of the meeting, we brought Jennifer on in an acting capacity as church clerk.
We need a nomination now to accept her as the church clerk, and then we’ll vote on that.
So I make the nomination.
I second the nomination.
All in favor?
Okay, so you’re official now, okay?
It has been moved that Jennifer Chandler is now the official church clerk of Mount Olivet Baptist Church this date, 22 July 2026.
So when we go before the officers, do we have to do that again in October?
Yes, that is correct.
Open up for nominations.
Open up for nominations.
You understand that, right?
Now Harold did it for 50 years, so you—
Anyway, moving right along here, so we’re going to run out of time here.
We talked about the roof, and in the process of Regina sending them a letter back to the insurance company based on what we’ve done now.
Hey, I got that one.
Okay.
Okay, so we’re on top of the roof thing. Regina is sending a letter back to the insurance company.
And whatever we need to do on the playground—they can’t make us have a playground at this church, so we elected to seal it off, right, until we can get the funds to do it. Then so be it.
On the Family and Friends Day, we don’t exactly—
Friendship Day.
I don’t know.
Yeah, Friendship Day.
We want to actually make sure that we have enough money allocated and budgeted, Judy, so that we can have hot dogs and hamburgers and whatever you deem that’s necessary.
So is that something separate than what was accepted when I submitted the budget?
No, whatever the budget amount was, we want to make sure that you have that, right? That’s all we’re saying.
I’m not understanding. Something that was already approved, it has to be approved again?
No, no, no.
Did you put in hot dogs and hamburgers?
Yes.
Okay. What I’m saying is that we’re into the first quarter of fiscal year, right? So whatever we’re going to spend, right, you know the amount, right? All I’m saying is we’re going along with the amount that you’re asking for, okay—the church, okay?
I’m sorry, I just want to clarify because I didn’t ask for anything. It was in the budget.
I know. I’m saying you didn’t, Judy, but I’m saying that—
So whatever is there—
What I’m saying is that we’re saying that whatever you need to do Family and Friends Day, that the church is behind you on it. That’s all we’re saying, okay?
Two things. Two things. You ran them together. They’re two separate—
Right.
One is the things that she does on fellowship, Friendship Day, third Sunday.
Right.
The other is Friendship Day, first Sunday after Labor Day. That’s the one we’re talking about.
And what I’m saying is that for September—the September—
Yeah, it should have been in the budget prior year. That’s what I’m saying. It should be in the budget already.
Right.
So we just commented on it. We’re going to take care of it, okay? Because if we don’t have the money, we can’t take care of it.
It’s already been budgeted.
It’s already been budgeted, okay.
Okay, we move down to the next item.
We talk about Phyllis and making a donation to her in the amount of $200.
That will be one of our Brother Robert Jenkins’ last acts as chairman of the committee there, so that’s going to be a vacancy that we’re going to need to fill sometime in the future.
Go ahead, Catherine.
How much money do you have in the benevolent fund?
We don’t know. We just recommended that we give her $200.
We don’t know if we have any money at all.
Last meeting we had $50.
Okay.
I’m going to talk about just the door real quick. We’ve gotten quotes from $3,300 to some astronomical amount, so we’re going to wait, put that on hold until we actually get the amount that we’re going to need to replace the door out there.
And Brother Rob is going to work on the glass tomorrow.
We want to, Pastor, if it’s okay with you at this time, allow the questioning by the WMU to their expectation so we can—
No, no, that’s after you finish your—
I’m finished. That’s it.
I want to say, real quick, on behalf of—
$1,613.31.
Okay.
$1,613.31 as of today.
Okay.
You have heard the leadership chairman of the leadership committee’s report. Is there a motion?
One thing. Judy reminded us that on QuickBooks, we voted to update that, and it’s just a few dollars, so we—
As opposed to $150 a month, over $1,200 a year, we’re just going to do that, I think, $200 to $300, and it’s going to be [unclear], and it includes any upgrades as needed.
Wait a minute. We have—we have—we have a floor for the—
I move approval of the committee chair’s report in terms of what was previously discussed in the leadership.
Second.
All in favor?
Aye.
You heard what he said?
Did you hear what he said?
What’s the motion?
I move to approve the report from our leadership chair.
Sunday School Report
At this time, we have the Sunday school report.
If I’m figuring this right, we’re averaging about 18 members per Sunday.
Over the quarter.
Over the quarter.
All right.
That leads now to new business.
WMU Reactivation
And in the new business, I think what we had wanted to discuss was the reinstatement or the reactivation of the WMU. Is that correct?
That’s correct.
So what we are proposing right now is the—
One moment. How much money did the Sunday school get?
No, no, that has—WMU. That’s going to be—WMU is separate from that.
Oh, no, no, no, no. I was just saying she just asked for the Sunday school report.
Oh, yeah.
And she said we’re averaging 18 people.
Oh, of attendance.
I have no idea.
Okay, no.
Of attendance. Just to know how many.
Okay.
No, you need to ask Miss—
It’s coming.
Yes.
Okay.
The reactivation of the WMU has been proposed.
And, Lamona, if you would like to address the church concerning the WMU, you may.
Yes, I would.
Good evening, church.
It is a pleasure to be before you today, and if I can get at least four minutes of your time, we have a handout for the WMU.
And there had been little chatter going around that this was something or something similar to this was part of the church.
I think only like seven o’clock.
Yeah, sure.
I think it’s the same thing.
Yeah, it’s the same.
So, as we were speaking on it, we didn’t have anything, and Miss Regina could not find anything in the church files in relation to this union that was once in the church.
So she reached out and found this information.
This is my first time laying eyes on it, but most of them is a summation.
You want—
No, I have an entire file I can give you with this and everything else, with history and everything in it.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
So this is just a summation of the purpose for the union, and we would like here at Mount Olivet to, I guess, wake up the dead bones—reinstitute functioning.
And as we start, there’s going to be questions and understandings, and then people who are saying things from the past and all those things.
And we’re just going to start from the beginning.
And minister last two years.
Okay.
Yeah, that would help.
Okay.
And so, in giving everyone a copy of this, it just kind of—instead of me telling you about it or reading about it, and make sure most people already kind of know about it—I think that it is missing because some of the things that came up in the meeting, that, well, the church playground and those things like that.
But sometimes when you have different unions and the women getting together and meeting on certain things, there’s certain ways we can come up with the funding to support within the church, also outside of the church.
The officers in the account, that’s no problem.
But supporting for the youth department, that’s where we will come in.
Inside the church, wiping those pews, that’s where we will come in.
And community support for the one who said was lonesome or something had changed, at least we can try to—I know people visit and things like that—but these are the things that we will be discussing as well.
No, no. I have to tell you something. Some things don’t come under the purview of WMU, and we won’t do them.
These were just concerns that I heard in this meeting, that until we read what they were doing in those minutes.
Because here’s what I can tell you. You know, I brought back some WMU information, but I would like for you, if you want to, to go to the Southern Baptist Union—I mean Southern Baptist Convention.
There’s a lot of information for WMU, and they have all sorts of information, and they would be more than glad for you to come and attend their meetings.
There, you know, if you are the president, they have meetings every year, and that’s in Birmingham, Alabama, and you would be invited to go to that, you know, so that you can see exactly what they are doing.
You know, now, so that what you have here is pretty much basic things that WMU do, what they are involved in.
And their main focus is missions.
Missions.
Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong, missions.
That’s their main focus.
And in the educational department, things like that, training and encouraging young people to be involved in missions, assisting the church to send our young people or others on missions.
The last person that went on missions from our church was my grandson, who went to Africa, and the church was involved in sending him to Africa.
The main focus of WMU is women’s missionary work.
So that’s what they should—that’s their main focus, and how they will put that together in doing, you know, and encouraging missions.
Now that may be different from the work that women do in the church in terms of prayer.
Like I had—I spoke to Jennifer and to Caroline, and I think maybe she was willing to be involved in—they want to go and visit people that are sick.
That has nothing to do with WMU. That’s separate from WMU.
So I didn’t want to have confusion over these things so that we all have one mind.
Because, you know, there are ministries that people can do, and we want to encourage them to do it.
So when you do the WMU, I certainly will give you the full support I possibly can for WMU to be successful.
Okay, we don’t have a president yet.
I know.
So we’re going to establish—
That’s what we’re—
Right.
You all have to get together and work all y’all.
Yeah, yeah.
Because all—let me say this: all women of the church, all women in the Southern Baptist Convention church, are automatic members of the WMU.
That’s good.
Any suggestion that we table further discussion to see the work that we did? It might have been longer than two years, but no staff, because there were worse things that were adopted, like sending the teenage girls to camp, you know, leadership and building them.
Wait, so I won’t—I’m not saying I’m the president. I’m just saying—
I’m saying then we’ll bring that to them, and because these bones have been dead for how many years?
Two.
So we will reestablish this.
That’s what I’m saying.
Reconstitute the WMU.
You guys form your own board and do all that stuff and let it go from there.
I’ll bring it.
I’ll bring it.
Okay.
Do you give me what you’ve done in the past and now?
So, Lamona, you can choose a time when you would like to meet with the women to talk to them about election of officers or whatever—whoever wants to do what in the WMU.
Can we do—thank you for stepping forward in this.
Right.
Exactly.
Yeah.
I mean, leadership is always a challenge to anybody who takes that position.
Right.
Okay.
All right.
This is a little different from what we did, you know, being the president of the mission for like 16 years. Missions is something that’s the back of my hand, okay?
I will learn more about the WMU, although I’m not taking on the presidency or anything.
I’m trying to wake up the dead bones that are—
That’s wonderful.
Exactly.
That is great.
Thank you.
Yes, ma’am.
New and Old Business
New business.
New business.
So, would Friendship Day 2026 fall under new business?
Pardon?
Friendship Day 2026 fall under new business?
No, no. That wouldn’t fall under new business.
Okay.
No.
Is there any new business to be discussed?
Old business.
The merchant service provider that I was to update. Turns out, the MP Group—not a better choice.
What we currently have is cheaper, so I don’t—
Just stay with what we have?
We stay with what we have.
Stripe is another option for us, but that’s just going to take some time for me to update the website and everything we need to do.
It could save us some money annually, but it’s—
We’re doing fine with what we have.
It’s not as clean, but with as few people actually uses the online payments, I don’t suppose we do anything drastic.
In terms of old business, the parking lot has been paved.
Paved.
Things that we need to—
Filling the cracks?
They blacktopped.
They blacktopped.
There were some cracks left that you were going to fill in.
Well, you know, we’re going to have to do that.
We’re going to have to do that.
It looks a hundred times better than it did, and we have to be appreciative.
Well, that’s just something that—
Catherine [unclear], when you decide to work with your husband on Saturday morning.
Yeah.
Because, you know, the pastor and I talk about it. All it takes is going down to Home Depot and getting a five-gallon can of tar and come out here and just pave those little spots.
But it looks a lot better.
And for those that don’t know it, that was done a month ago, and grass is already coming up.
Oh, yes.
You would think that hot stuff would just kill it, but it didn’t.
Pastor, you want to check on the finance report because we just need to—
Yes, because I’m trying to close up these tight ends on the old business.
Okay, let me check on that then.
Go look on that.
While my mind is standing up, the garbage has been taken care of—old business.
Except Lloyd hasn’t put it out every Friday.
Right, but the garbage can and the company changing has been replaced, and it’s now taken out.
So that has been done.
The pavement has been done.
Say to us about the online giving.
Friendship Day Discussion
Judy.
I don’t want to hash anything out here regarding Friendship Day. That’s the purpose of the planning.
But what I would like to do is clarify, when we do the announcements, that we start officially talking about Friendship Day and what it means, because I heard a lot of people come to me afterwards, “Well, what is Friendship Day?”
Can we at least say—
Okay. I started Friendship Day about 10 years or so ago, and what it is was our invitation to the community to get to know them.
And we started out by inviting community. We took out flyers and everything, put them there that it was free, that they could come by.
We had hot dogs and hamburgers.
That’s what Friendship Day was, so they would just get to know us.
Yes.
Well, I think we all know that, but I’m saying we need to say that during church service with the announcements.
Okay.
At least clarify what it is and start playing it up, because that’s—
It’ll be on us soon.
Yeah, like in a month.
In a month.
You got a copy of that?
All right.
Finance Committee Report
At this time, we shall now have the report of the Finance Committee.
Yes, and I apologize for the lateness, and thank you for your support, assisting as always.
What we have before us are the budget versus actuals, effective January 1st through today, which is July the 22nd.
And I won’t go line by line, but if you have any questions at the end of the report, please feel free to ask.
In terms of the revenue, our total revenues—the actual was $51,752.
And what we—I mean, it’s going to [unclear] about to the same because of the incoming contributions or what have you, so there won’t show a difference.
I don’t think we said an actual amount. We said we’re going to take in $60,000, but—
Actually, it shows here revenues versus expenditures.
Okay.
So, in terms of our actual—excuse me—our actual expenditures, July the 22nd—
That’s only the two or three.
We just flipped the page there.
Okay.
Next to the bottom line.
Okay, gotcha.
Okay. $42,765.09, which actually shows us in the black for net revenues of $8,886.91.
We’re reviewing and looking at that $8,000-some-odd dollars, just remembering that our budget year—we still have two more months left in this year.
And I don’t think—well, actually, because this doesn’t include July’s expenditures.
So we actually have July, August, and September, then the new budget starts over as of October 1st.
So we have—being that we’re going to continue to take in contributions, tithes, and offerings—that amount can differ whether we be in the red or in the black as of the next quarterly meeting.
But right now we’re in the black, $8,886.91.
In terms of the individual items for revenues and expenditures, does anyone have any questions at this time?
Questions from the treasurer.
Yes, Judy?
Okay, so I’m just—if I’m not listening, which I wasn’t, I apologize.
Because if I’m just glancing at this to have an understanding of what this budget is, we have the actual, and then we have what’s over budget—actual budget—and then the same amount is the exact same for over, with no percentage of how much of the budget is spent.
Yeah, it’s on page two or three at the bottom, $42,765.09.
But I can explain.
Okay, but I’m talking about line items, so we know what we’re doing.
Explain the drop in over-budget thing, because there’s no actual budget that has been entered in here yet.
And so over budget means that whatever we get is over zero dollars.
You shouldn’t have any budget entered here on this report. So you can ignore the over budget. That doesn’t mean anything.
So the budgets that were turned in are not what we’re using?
They’re not in this report.
In this report.
Okay, so it’s separate.
Yeah, it’s a separate report. I have to get that out.
Thanks. I just wanted to get you the actual and everything quick.
I apologize. I was confused.
Yeah.
Well, since you brought that up, where is the kitchen on here? Is that the part down here on Fellowship Hall?
Fellowship Hall.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, I thought.
Oh, okay.
So when it comes to the Fellowship Hall, this is the actual amount that has been spent so far.
So you know what you turned in, right? The amount of money.
Okay.
And that’s pretty much how each department right now would know, you know, what’s going on. But what you’re giving right now, that’s the actual amount.
Okay.
And I need to make a correction.
Actually, this report isn’t from October to September. It’s from January to July.
On the calendar-year basis, but on fiscal-year basis, it’s actually October 1st through September 30th.
Yeah, this is the calendar year to date, January to today.
So if I’m correct, then the benevolence fund has $1,741.97, and the building fund only has $100.
No. Building fund has more than $100.
The building fund should have about $5,000.
No, not according to this.
That’s in terms of revenue coming in, but the actual bank balances are here.
The actual bank balances?
Yeah, I can give you those.
This is how much we got in from January to now.
This is only revenues and expenditures, not the bank balance.
But I can get that number.
That’s not necessary, as long as everybody is happy.
Everybody’s happy.
And I wanted to say, too, we did not meet our $1,500 goal for Annie Armstrong.
But now we’re collecting—as Judy was mentioning in the future announcements for Friendship Day—you can also mention that for the announcement, hopefully that goal for January.
Any questions on the financial report?
Anyone has any more questions?
How much money do we have in the bank right now?
I’m getting to that.
And look at your areas on these reports. If you have any questions, contact me or Regina, or you can address them.
I was on vacation last week and I didn’t have a chance to look at them.
She asked you a question, didn’t you?
What was your question, Kathy?
How much money do we have in the bank?
I’m going to give you the figures right now.
As of today, July 22nd:
The Sunday school fund has $1,229.22.
The general fund, which is our main account, $25,760.82.
Our benevolence fund, $1,613.31.
Our building fund, $4,487.98.
And our WMU fund, $1,154.65.
And these numbers have been reconciled through the end of June.
Those are accurate balances based on bank statements.
Okay, wonderful.
Any other questions regarding the financial report?
Chase, you have anything to say?
Not a thing.
Jennifer?
No, sir.
Carla?
Lloyd?
Yeah. I make a motion this meeting be accepted—the financial report be accepted as printed with necessary corrections.
Thank you.
It has been moved that the financial report be accepted as read with necessary corrections.
All in favor?
Aye.
Aye.
It has been moved and seconded that the financial report be accepted as read with necessary corrections.
Adjournment
Do I have a motion to adjourn?
I second.
So we don’t have to vote on adjourn?
No, we already did.
We already did.
She’s going to be the temporary until October.
October, yeah.
Okay.
This meeting adjourned at 7:13.
Wait, you guys accept the WMU? Nobody said—
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The WMU is already—
Yeah, it’s already there. You just—so it’s just being resurrected.
Okay.
Unless you got a ride home.
Yes, sir. My car is there.
