Whatever you do, work heartily, As for the Lord and not for men.
Do you often tell your boss you don’t really work for him?
lol…where I work? As a matter of fact – Yes – it’s a Christian non-profit 😄. Btw, my boss is a “her” not a “him”. Coincidentally, our self reviews are due today and we actually discussed this verse during one of my team meetings this morning. We joked that our motto and mission statement in the ministry is “Member first”, but our Bible says differently 😉
So relax—you’re not in “try harder” mode. You’re in “thank You, Father” mode.
Sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
Yeah, that’s kinda what sold me on it. Check this one out – it’s in Galatians:
“before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Ha! Sounds like more “be nice to leftists” trickery.
