Psalm 1:6 The Lord watches over the path of the godly.
Guess I just need to be more godly.
Lol…that’s Old Testament talk. You can’t actually become “more godly”—God already settled that in Jesus. Faith isn’t about climbing some spiritual ladder, it’s about waking up to who you already are and what He’s done. Back then, “godly” meant trying to keep up with the Law. Now, it’s about realizing the Father calls you His son, holy, spotless, and blameless—because of Christ. You don’t have to strive for it; you get to live from it. Like Paul said, “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith… not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Stop striving to become what you already are.
Sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
Yeah, that’s kinda what sold me on it. Check this one out – it’s in Galatians:
“before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Ha! Sounds like more “be nice to leftists” trickery.
